Baptism and Remodeling

Out with the old!
I wish I had more pictures of Greg and his father working on this. I was in DC this day, when they were tearing out the old bathroom. Thanks boys! If it wasn't for my mother-in-law, I wouldn't have any pictures! Thanks Anita!

In with the new! Now we have 2 sinks! My brother Al put these in and the lights. I helped too! Greg's dad also did all the plumbing behind the walls.

My mom is putting in grout.

Here is my man cutting the tile. It was porcelean tile and made alot of little sharp glass shards which got all over him. Ouch! Tiling is a messy job! I'm glad its done!

Al and I setting the tiles.

My dad helped make dinner one day and did a lot of cleaning up! Thanks dad!

One day while Bob was fixing the plumbing, I went to Baughers farm and picked cherries, peas and strawberries with my mother-in-law and Noah and Payton. Gray and Owen were at basketball camp. Thanks to Anita and my mom the fruit got washed and we made freezer jam with strawberries.

Ironya family - Stephanie, Celeste and John were also baptized on this special day, June 13th 2010.

Happy day! Our baby has been baptized! He says he is not a baby! So our youngest son is now baptized and I am so happy! We appreciate all our family that were able to attend. This day was also shared with the Ironya family and many friends. (sorry, not adding all the extra pictures.)

June Juggle

As June began there was a lot going on. Payton's 8th birthday/ baptism, visitors in town, school and baseball ending, bathroom remodeling project and still daily life to deal with. It was quite a juggle but we all managed well and have these great pictures to share. (Some will come in another post since this one is quite full and won't let me add more.)

Gray and I took the metro to DC and hooked up with the Yeh's whom we know from Taiwan. The Yeh's were one of our closest friends there. It was a special surprise to be able to see them, I'm glad we ventured down- even though life was busy. It was worth it!!! Thanks Yeh's for starting our summer with great memories!
I'm standing next to Felicia. I met her friend from NY whose standing next to Gray.

Peter is filling up Nicholas's flask, he got from some spy museum.

Gray and Matthew feeding the wildlife.

We met at the Washington Monument and the kids got a popcicle treat. It was hot!

New picture of our birds nest on our porch. Just recently they flew off. So, by the time they hatched until they were able to leave the nest was I'd say a month. Now, they sure grow up fast!

Baseball season ended and Noah's team made it to the final playoff round. Unfortunately coming in second. They received a trophy for that game and a trophy for being the number one team in the regular season. (Our home is going to need a room just for trophies!)

End of school activities were fun but we may have to skip them next year! Oh, no, cuz Noah will graduate 5th grade, and they make a big "to-do" for the 5th graders. There is a catered picnic with games like tug-o-war, sock-hop, carnival night without parents but chaperoned, and big fancy graduation... I got that on my video camera. The 5th grade festivities go on for 2 weeks! Then some families do parties at their home!!! So, what's left for graduating high school? Oh, yeah, kids around here get a car! I thought we were in a recession!

The following pictures were actually from the end of May, its Playday at Linton Springs Elementary! And I hear our school does the best playday in the state!

Cutie!

Run Noah, Run!

Dancing to the D.J's music! Looking cool Owen! The pirate theme carries over.

Owen was in the chorus this year, all voluntary! It was a pirate theme, some kids did the acting parts, Owen was in the chorus. Here he is with his buddy Jared Robey, no- I mean, Jack Sparrow.
