Its that time of year again to give away old toys and clothes and this was a favorite my boys had for years thanks to my sister Susan and Lego world. I've kept one for Payton to use but the others have been given away. Gray just turned 15 this year! A big age and he is over 6 feet now with shoes on! Gray had a very mediocre birthday this year. Greg was out of town with Owen for General Conference. So, yeah, it was general conference weekend, Sunday birthday, but my lack of planning created a less than superior memory Im sure. (Gray's football pictures are on shutterfly. I put a link to it from facebook.) If you don't know fall is football season and our family spends alot of time watching and playing football. The boys teams are Century Knights, and Sykesville Raiders. Payton hasn't been a player yet, but he is thinking next year he would like to start. I complain but I really do like watching them play. They are key contributors! I'm proud of the work they do on and off the field!!
Organizing this post is driving me nuts so I am just going to get it done! Noah is having a great season in fb. He contributes by kicking, hiking, and blocking. He loves being a part of a winning team. (C Liberty with coach Rainey, Armstrong, and others.)
Owen's team is struggling this year. Owen had a rough start with a hurt foot and still deals with pain in his knee because of "Osgood-Schlatters disease". His team won for the 2nd time when he was out of town in Utah. (see pics below) He contributes alot on defense and I guess I will have to take pictures because the Shutterfly pics we have from the team show alot of offensive plays and very little defensive plays. Lately, he has been tried at punting for the extra points and made it couple times. With other teammates being injured he may get to try other positions but the season is almost over and he has already begun basketball on a travel team with his football coach, Tucker. (defense coach is Dubbs)
no it wasn't snowing just very bright from the warm sun. lucky they had great weather for their trip. we were wet and cold (40degrees) in MD at this time.
So fall is here, not as vibrants as other years. The trees in my backyard- neighbor's yard have been taken down and just piles of woodchips are left. While in Utah, Greg took a few pics. above: They went hiking at the Y; visited friends (Kunz, Andertons, Newmans, Hongs, Davis, and Will?); visited family (my brother Al, grandma Abuelita Soli, uncle Estuardo, Cristy and Val came up from AZ too); they stayed with my brother Al who lives in Pleasant Grove; saw general conference - making it into the Priesthood session because of Al getting tickets for them, (Al sang in it); watching a BYU game live; and eating at yummy restarants. Im so glad Owen's 12 year-old trip worked out this fall. We tried for them to go in April but too much happening and we couldn't get tickets at a reasonable price. Im glad they could have this time to create memories and go to conference.
