Being Thankful

Im so glad Thanksgiving comes before Christmas because I can think about all that I have instead of all that I want.  I have many blessings and family is numero uno!   We have a new addition to our family!  A beagle puppy we named Fiona, came home with us from New York this year.  She is quite cute and adjusting well to her new home.  I will get pics up soon.  I need to find my usb cord!

So besides birthdays and football this fall I want to record a few other things we did.   (By the way, Im so thankful for my dear friends that wished me a happy birthday this Sept.  I have reflected on how blessed I am to know you all.  I cherish the memories I have of each one of you!)

Im super grateful for good health.  Im able to run, play the piano, sing, read, drive, cook, clean, work subbing at school, do my calling at church (Activity Days Assistant & Relief Society pianist)  and see my boys grow up doing things they love.   So many blessings!

My boys, Gray, Owen, and Noah joined me to see the Nutcracker ballett Sat. Dec. 10th.   I appreciated this date I had with them.  It was "torture" for them to come but underneath it all I think they enjoyed the ballett.    This the the theatre we went to.  http://www.mdtheatre.org/

My boys are doing very well in school.  They all have A's and B's after their first busy quarter of football.  Basketball is now underway and they continue to show solid effort!

Greg had another successful tennis season.  He is always a pleasure to be with and Im grateful we have made it through another Anniversary together - over 16 years now!   What I appreciate the most is how he deals with stress with such ease, always keeping what matters most in perspective.

I appreciate my parents who have made it possible for me, and my two younger sons to fly to Arizona to be with family for my youngest brother's wedding!!  So looking forward to this!  Greg, Owen, Gray will stay here to take care of Fiona and fulfill basketball commitments to their team.
They will be visited by Greg's eldest brother, Nate- and his family, during this holiday.    Again- we are grateful for FAMILY!!!

We love you All- Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
