Greetings! This is basically a rundown on how we have been doing, and what we have been up to this past month. I know I haven't written much for a couple of months. I have been thinking about many of you and just wondering how your lives are going. I read up on many blogs and letters as often as I can. Im grateful for the family blogs. I have saved the ones I've received to our favorites box so I can get a quick peek every now and again.
So... our recent projects have been giving our yard - front and back- a facelift. Greg's folks were in town over the weekend and helped us out, again! Yes if it wasn't for Bob and Anita's help, these projects would be overwhelming and never get finished. They would be on our tomorrow do list, a tomorrow that never comes. THANKS AGAIN!

Our old, ugly deck is gone with new grass planted there. Herbs have been added to the new garden, veggies like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers will be coming next month. Weeds pulled but of course still more to pull. Weeds is one of those never ending jobs like dishes and laundry. A few flowers and bushes have been planted in the front yard, or transplanted to the front yard. A flower bed in the front is ready for the annuals to be planted next month, which will become a Mother's Day tradition! - I'm thinking marigolds will be perfect. Grass was also added to front yard. We have some wild flowers planted on one side of house. So much got done- shrubs, trimmings, junk got taken to the dump. Our yard looks wonderful! And next year it will look even better!
Spring has brought us daffodils, tulips, iris are sprouting, so much has come to life it is an awesome feeling. I don't think I've ever felt the true experience of spring like I have this year.
Our children have been busy with the following: Gray and Owen have a break from sports and so they are focusing on Boy Scouts' and primary goals. Gray graduates from primary in 24 more Sundays. Owen has Pine Wood Derby on the 30th of April. Gray has campout this weekend 25th of April. So, now Noah and Payton get all our attention with their sport- baseball. Payton is not much into sports like his brothers but he is loving baseball. This is Noah's third sport for the year! The boys have a new trampoline in their new backyard! After two days of needed rain it is sunny and I'm sure they will be jumping. I'll get some pics to add tonight.

Boy Scout Goal: visiting a natural wildlife museum or park- fun goal !!
I have a Southern Living Party this weekend. My friend Geri Sherbert is the consultant coming for that. Next weekend Im co-hosting (at a resturant) a baby shower for Helen Stanger (friend and visiting teachee in our ward). Greg and I have a goal to get the basement all in order before summer break which is coming soon. I want to feel totally unpacked before the boys are home all summer. In May I will go to an orientation and get registered with the schools to substitute at the childrens elementary school which I plan to start doing this fall. Last but not least, I hope to run a race or two this summer. Probably 5K and 10K. Im not yet at marathon levels and don't think I'll every care to be. I enjoy running but not killing myself in the process.
That's about it. Weather is great, spring has blossomed everywhere and life is good! We are planning our summer vacations. One up through New England; stopping in Philidelphia, New York, Boston and ending in Portsmouth, NH. (where Greg's eldest brother and family live).
The other to Hawaii and maybe stopping in Utah on the way out?? still not sure on that. Our boys are saying they would rather stop in AZ to see cousins; either would be good.
I think that sums it up for now.
All the best,
Bev and boys
