Greg wants the before shot. This is the evening of February 9th, Tuesday. It started snowing again! I'm loosing count now... I think this will be our 5th snowfall. Yes, it is our 5th. The pictures below are from our 4th snowfall. Feb. 5th.

Gray is going up to help his dad.

He fell for it too! Right off the roof!

Anna enjoying her snowy birthday! 6th of Feb. Towards the end of the day it stopped snowing.
Below the boys are digging themself a whole... trying to get to someplace warmer?

Here, Sarah is showing off her igloo making talents! Pretty cool!

Our road meets here with Gaither and look at the pile of snow the plowers pushed up to Mrs. Mercer's yard! I think that will be there for a month! (It's almost as tall as the sign... by the end of tomorrow- Feb. 10th, it will be as tall as that sign!)

Covered under the snow is Mrs. Mercer's house on wheels. Check out the wall of snow that is about 2 1/2 feet deep! Our neighbor used a snowblower to cut through her driveway and left a neat wall. After our 5th snowfall tomorrow, I think we will beg our neighbors to use their snowblower cuz Greg is sick of shoveling!

Patyon and I have made ourselves snow chairs! Can't sit in them too long though!

The boys liked to play King of the Hill. Payton also likes to jump from it and roll off it. It was difficult to go sledding on because it needed to be compacted before you could slide anywhere. We let the boys use the driveway that Greg shoveled, BIG MISTAKE! It got compacted and we couldn't drive on it. Luckily we didn't intend to go anywhere anyway! But Greg went out Sunday morning to pry off some more icy snow from the driveway that was compacted from sledding and it was back-braking work! He could only do so much and then laid salts down.

Here is our home after snowfall #4. The back side of the roof is worse. I didn't get pictures of that yet, but after snowfall #5 hits tonight I might venture out to get more shots. (If I can walk through the snow!) It already covers my knees and we are expected to get 10-20 more inches after snowfall #5! Yes, this will be a Maryland record!!!

I think a county truck finally came one time through on Monday morning. It was helpful since I had my doctor appointment to get to on Monday morning. (breast byopsies) Baltimore was a mess with cars covered in snow because plowers came to clear the road and cars parked on the sides got trapped. I heard our county is out of salt and sand for clearing the road, so after snowfall #5 tonight- Tues. the 9th- we may be trapped in our homes for a few days. Luckily, the roads were okay to get out Tues. a.m. and we went to the store and ran some errands in town. I won't be surprised if school is canceled all week. Mountgomery county has already officially closed schools for all week! We live in Carroll County and so far we have notice there is no school for Wednesday. (That's a no brainer!) Basketball season has pretty much been ruined. I hope whomever makes the decision for scheduling will just cancel all practice days and make them game days. Well, I'm off to slumber in my warm bed. I pray we will continue to be protected and safe in our home from all this disastrous, cold weather! I pray for those who have had it worse than us. I hope they can get help before it's too late.
We are all getting a little tired of the snow. Owen's expression here tells it all! Plus, this 4th snowfall was a cold one. (between 15-20 degrees, because of the off and on again winds)
