My sister, Cristy, lives near a Polar Ice Skating rink. We went there once while on our trip. Greg, myself, my brother Al were with the older children. (Payton was sick and couldn't come.)

At first most of the boys held onto the railing until they felt comfortable on the ice. This has been Gray and Owen's second experience. We went once while in Asia. I don't think Noah and Payton were old enough, I don't recall them on the ice before.

Noah did pretty good and was the first of my boys to let go and venture out, away from the wall. (Noah's wobbly picture is below. Its funny to see him swinging his arms to keep his balance.) He is always up for a challenge, especially if its to out-do his older brothers. Below is Addison, their cousin.

Addison Dari seemed a bit more comfortable on the ice but also had their share of falls with bruises to follow. Dari looks like she is concentrating.

Greg is getting the hang of it, I see a smile!

Here is Noah- away from the wall. You go boy!

Dari, doing a good job staying up!

Triumph! We are the champions!

Greg and I enjoying some time together!

Me bonding with my bro.

Al is quite a good skater, all those years riding on in-line skates paid off! I was impressed! He's like a penguin on ice!

Al did a super job helping the children out. He would hold their hands and get them to skate faster. They loved it!

Ahh! Rest! These skates hurt our feet! Plus, some t.v. is showing some game that their interested in. We all skated about 2 hours! It was good exercise. I was glad to take my blades off too! (No pictures of me because the camera would flash wrong and it was too dark, but I did pretty good!)
