Gingerbread house-making

Welcome back from the holidays!!! We are up and running again!!! Here are some early pitures of our holidays.

We did this fun activity on Wednesday, Dec. 20th, with our bishop's family and good friends, the Chiles. Ross, Carrie, Mackenzie, Levi, Sydney, Quinn, Aidan, and Reid. This was our first time making a gingerbread house and we were successful ! Thank you Carrie for the recipe and instructions!

We also had a couple extra little friends with us this night, Kaleb and Noe Reil. Their parents were in the hospital with their new baby brother, Gavin. With our help, they built their own and got to take it home to eat all to themselves! (Cool thing- Greg and I knew Kaleb and Noe's mother (Jennifer) before she got married. We lived in the same apartment complex at BYU for a year!)

After about a week of picking at the gingerbread house, the boys decided to finish it off. So, they took butter knifes and hacked away! I missed them attacking it, but here is Gray cleaning up the rest of it.
