bird watching

With boy scouts and spring in the air the birds are back and we have enjoyed a couple of days taking pictures and identifying them. Sorry some are hard to see but there is a red robin, common flycatcher (we think), vulture, ducks, owls, and red cardinal. We've seen bluebirds, chickadees, seagulls, and quails but just haven't caught them on camera yet; and as you can tell, its not easy getting a close up shot with our camera.

i miss all the birds we used to have in our yard, many types. the cardinals would hang out in our trees a lot and make funny sounds. i used to hear the morning doves on my roof every morning. We would find robin eggs in the yard a lot. There was a big owl in one of our trees one time and another time a bat and we saw big hawks and vultures fly above us a lot. Since our neighborhood is still being developed there is no wild life around yet.

Pretty! I love the colorful birds. It's nice to stop and enjoy things like that.

Hey Beverly! Love the Blog! I found it through the Bradleys. You have such a cute family. How do you survive with all those boys?!

We love birding! We should all go together sometime. I know Isaac loves to play with Payton.
