In front of our cab and hotel.

We did alot of walking. We rented these chairs in Hyde park to rest a bit our second day. Greg was with me for our first 3 days. We saw alot of things in London and just outside.
Trafalgar Square was right across the street from our hotel, which made it easy for us to find our hotel. Yeah!
St. James Park was also not far from our hotel. I jogged through here a couple times.
Here I am with Greg's co-worker, Suet.
We saw some interesting street performers!

Buckinham Palace, awesome! I just love all the gardens and architecture in this city!!
Westminster Abbey

We took the train to get to Windsor Castle, which is still in use with todays royalty. Greg had to stand in front of this sign, Slough. The British Office show is based in Slough.
Greg and I both agree that Windsor Castle was our favorite, from what we saw all week. Great things to see here that Im not allowed to take pictures of. I guess you'll have to go see it someday!

In town we enjoyed Big Ben and Parliment.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
British Museum
Notting Hill
The show Wicked!
Horses in the city!!
St. Paul's Cathedral which Greg walked all the way to the tippy - top and got a panoramic view. (more pics below- keep scrolling)
Museums I didn't go in but enjoyed the architeture.

Kensington Palace Gardens- love them!
Basil Street reminds me of Sherlock Holmes, had to take a pic.
Expensive Harrod's Mall, which I went through and was so tired of walking that day (cuz I got lost getting here) that I didn't stop much but to buy a pastry from across the street.
Greg wanted me to take a picture of him in one of these "Harry Potter" phone booths. I took one earlier in the day and didn't get in one... he is about to gag because of the poop that is in it- literally!
China town in England! I enjoyed the Indian resturant more.
Amazing views:
Millenium Bridge
construction underway for the tallest building in London
Okay, that's it for London pics. Below are some pics of things that happened before we left... some unfortunates, which were all minor- thank goodness!
melted tupperware in oven, forgot to take it out- This was difficult to clean; I had to use a hammer.

Our boys like to stand on the edge of these chairs and I've told them for years it can't hold their weight, not even Payton. Well, one finally broke and I tried to fix it but couldn't so we had to throw it away. This was one of the new ones I bought 4 years ago. Our original ones from 15 years ago are still okay!!
It snowed once more before we left, but didn't really stick. This was either right before or right after conference. I think right after because if I remember right, I talked with friends in Utah that had this same storm before we got it. Could it really have traveled all the way?? Probably a different storm but it happened about the same time.
